How to check Cash Transaction in Receipt & Payment Module?
The cash transaction list provides a complete summary of all cash-related activities, ensuring transparency and proper tracking of financial transactions.
- Go to the "Receipts & Payments" module in 'Control Panel' menu bar
- Click on "Cash Transaction"
- "Type" Record related info in "Search Box" at the Top Left
- Searching could be performed by using the following fields:
- "By Date" using the format "YYYY-MM-DD," i.e., 2019-04-23.
- "By Code
- The cash transaction list displays all cash-based transactions with details including:
- Date: The date the transaction was recorded.
- Code: Unique transaction code for identification.
- Reference: The type of transaction (e.g., Cash Transaction or Take Payment).
- Campus Name: The campus where the transaction took place.
- Description: Provides details about the transaction, such as the student or staff involved.
- Cash Account Name: Indicates the cash account used (e.g., Petty Cash).
- Amount: The transaction amount (debit or credit).

Action Column:
- Edit: Modify an existing transaction.
- Delete: Remove a transaction permanently.
- Print Receipt: Generate a printable receipt for the transaction.

Expand Details:
- Click the "+" button to expand and view more details about the transaction, such as specific account heads, descriptions, debit/credit amounts, and filter criteria.
