Pre-Requisites / Settings To Check Summary
To work with the Summary module in GLOWSIMS:
- Chart of Accounts: Ensure all account heads (Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Income, Expenses) are configured properly. (Settings)
- Start Date: Define a start date for financial tracking in the system. (Settings)
- Accounting Method: Select either Accrual Basis or Cash Basis view
- Active Financial Period: Use the 'Set Period' option to define the duration for which records will be displayed in the summary.
- User Permissions: Ensure that access to the Summary module and relevant reports is granted.
