How To Configure Settings For Online Classes?
To effectively manage online classes, the following two settings must be configured:
- Courses & Batches: (Add meeting links for seamless online sessions).
- Course Category: (Set school timings specifically for online classes).
These settings are essential for ensuring smooth and efficient online class operations.
Add Meeting Links in "Courses & Batches"
- Navigate to "Control Panel".
- Go to "Settings"
- Click on "Courses & Batches".
4. Create "New course" or update an existing one (By click on edit sign) .
5. An “Online Class Link” field will display for each batch. (This link provides a single Google Meet link for the entire batch).
Note: This field appears only if the Online Classes permission is enabled.
School timing for online classes in "Course Category"
- Navigate to "Control Panel"
- Go to "Settings"
- Move to "Course Category".
- Create "New course category" or update existing by click edit sign .
- Configure the following fields to set class timings
- School Start Time: The time when the school day begins.
- School End Time: The time when the school day concludes.
- School Half-Day Start Time: The start time for a scheduled half-day session.
- School Half-Day End Time: The end time for a scheduled half-day session.
NOTE: These settings determine when the classes are accessible in the apps.
