How To Add "Asset Group" Settings?
Introduction
The Asset Group setting is crucial for organizing and managing fixed assets. It enables categorization into logical groups, facilitating better tracking, depreciation, and reporting. By default, the system includes a pre-added group titled "Fixed Asset Group", which serves as the primary head group. Users can create additional subgroups or head groups to match their asset categorization requirements.
To Add
- Go to Settings from side bar menu
- "Type" required info in a "Search Box" at the Top Right Corner
- Click on 'Asset Group'
- Click on "New Fixed Asset Group" button
- Fill in the Details:
- Asset Group Title: Enter a name for the group (e.g., "Transportation", "Furniture and Fixtures").
- Select Group Head: Choose "Fixed Asset Group" or any other existing group as the parent group.
- Select Status: Set the status to Active to make the group usable.
- Click Save to add the new group to the system.
