How to Send Gate Attendance> Daily Check-In Check-Out Push Notification ?

Purpose
Automatically send push notifications to the parent app for student Daily Check-In/Check-Out. This ensures that parents receive timely notifications on the app each time their child arrives at or departs from institute, keeping them updated on daily check-in and check-out activities.

Step 1: Complete Required Pre-Requisites

1. Create and Set the Default Notification Template:
   • Go to Settings > Template in the GLOWSIMS portal.
   • Create a new template with the message content you want to send for check-in/check-out notifications.
   • Check the Default box to make this template the primary option for Gate Attendance notifications.
   • Save the template.
2. Enable Auto Notification for Gate Attendance:
   • Navigate to Settings > School General Settings 
      
   • Under Auto SMS Settings, check App Notification on Gate Attendance  
   • This setting ensures that the default template is automatically used for notifications when students check in or out.

Step 2: Verify 

• Confirm that the template is set as Default and that auto-notification settings are saved. This enables the system to send push notifications without manual action.

Step 3: Notification Trigger

• When the student checks in or checks out, the system will use the default template to send an automatic push notification to the parent’s app.
