How to Send 'Leave Application' Push Notification ?
Purpose:
The Leave Application Push Notification ensures that notifications are sent automatically to keep both students and teachers informed about leave requests in real time.
This automated process helps streamline communication, ensuring that both students and teachers are promptly informed of leave application submissions and decisions.
Perform following steps
Step 1: Settings
- Enable Auto Notification for Leave Application:
- Navigate to Settings > School General Settings
- Under Auto SMS Settings, check 'App Notifications on Application' checkbox
Step 2: Notification Trigger

Notification to Teacher App: When a student submits a leave request through the Student app, a push notification is automatically sent to the Teacher app. This notification alerts the teacher that a new leave application is awaiting review.

Notification to Student App: When the teacher or an admin updates the status of the leave request (either Approve or Disapprove) from the Teacher app or main portal, a push notification is automatically sent to the Student app. This informs the student of the updated status of their leave request.
Muallam App - Leave Application Submission Notification (Submitted from Parent/Student App):
Student/Parent App - Leave Application Approval Notification (Approved via Muallam App)
Student/Parent App - Leave Application Disapproval Notification (Disapproved via Muallam App)
Student/Parent App - Leave Application Approval Notification (Approved via Portal)
Student/Parent App - Leave Application Disapproval Notification (Disapproved via Portal)
Note:
- No template creation is needed, as the notification content is auto-defined within the system.
- The Push Notification Service must be activated to enable this feature.
