How to Send 'Complain Status Change' Push Notification ?
Purpose:
Automatically send a push notification to the Parent/Student app whenever the status of a complaint is updated by the school administration. This keeps parents/students informed about any actions taken on their complaints.
Perform following steps
Step 1: Settings
- Enable Auto Notification for Complain Status Change:
- Navigate to Settings > School General Settings
- Under Auto SMS Settings, check 'App Notification on Complain Status Change' checkbox
Step 2: Notification Trigger
Once the setting is enabled, notifications will be triggered as follows:
- Status Update Notification to Parent/Student:
- When the school administration updates the status of a complaint (e.g., In Progress , Resolved) from the main portal (GLOWSIMS), a push notification is automatically sent to the Parent/Student app.
- This notification informs the parent or student of any actions or changes related to their complaint.
Note:
- No template creation is needed, as the notification content is auto-defined within the system.
- The Push Notification Service must be activated to enable this feature.
