How to Manage Talent Pool
Purpose
The Talent Pool module in GLOWSIMS ERP helps institutions manage applicant records effectively, even after the hiring process is completed.
It serves as a central repository to:

View all applicants (hired or not)

Track interview stages

Assign applicants to new job vacancies

Add tags or remarks for categorization and feedback

Download or view resumes
This ensures applicant data is never lost and supports better hiring decisions across departments like Secondary Education, Administration & HR, or IT & Digital Learning.
Steps to Use the Talent Pool

Login and go to: Control Panel > Hiring
> Talent Pool

All applicants will be displayed in a tabular format including profile image, name, contact info, city, gender, tags, and current stage.
Filters (Top Bar)

Tags:
Use this multi-select field to filter candidates by assigned tags like Interview Pending, Staff Reference, Shortlisted, etc.

Hiring Stages:
Dropdown to filter applicants by their last interview stage like Initial Telephonic Screening, Application Review, or Final Interview.

Search Box:
Allows keyword-based search across any field, including name, email, city, or tags.

Action Icons:

Example:

Edward Jackson has tags Interview Pending and is currently at the Interview stage.

The HR user can view/download his resume, add remarks like “Good technical background,” or directly assign him to another relevant post
Action Forms – Detailed Use
1. View CV

Opens resume in a document viewer without download.
2. Download CV

Downloads CV in PDF format to your local device.
3. Add/Edit Tags

Add custom labels for better filtering.

Press Enter to save a tag.
-
Remove tags by clicking cross sign on each chip.
4. Add/Edit Remarks

Use text area to type notes or interviewer feedback.

Remarks are saved with user name.

Edit or delete past remarks using icons
.
5. Apply to Vacancies

Opens a vacancy selector window.

Select one or more job openings.

Click Save to assign the applicant.
Basic Troubleshooting
-
If ‘Tags’ not saving, press Enter after typing the tag
-
Cannot Apply to Vacancy, Confirm vacancy is open and active in ‘Hiring’ module
